Our journey

We began our journey knowing not what to do
This improvement stuff was oh so very new
But we jumped right in with microsystem tools
and learned that systems have no fixed rules

We worked with Excel and the secrets of STATA
citing "in God we trust, all others bring data"
We learned that more does not always mean better
and the only good thing in Miami is weather

We completed the CLARS one, two, three, and four
Putting others to shame, as we completed much more
Formative, summative, L-P-H-E
Glad REBEL is dead, long live A-L-P!

Fom the trauma bay up to the clinic in Lyme
we changed the process, saving effort and time
Aiming for withdrawal of more than 6 minutes
and hoping to split XMR control limits

From OPAT teaching to every prenatal test
we talked to our patients to see what is best
Preventing clots and teens having tots
Helped kids stay healthy by not eating lots

We now go forth, destroyers of MUDA
pledged to save our nations' healthcare moolah
and with inspiration from the woodcarver in mind
We celebrate our work and the end of our time.
